When we first encountered Islands of the World Fashion Week, it inspired much more in us than the need to run out and put on a bikini. They’re certainly on to something in the Bahamas (something in the water?), because the fashion week just won the top honor for the ‘Best Fashion Show or Fashion Week attended’ category at the 2nd Annual Caribbean Fashion Awards held at the Hilton Hotel in Bridgetown, Barbados–triumphing over Trinidad Fashion Week in Trinidad, Caribbean Fashion Week in Jamaica, and ACF Fashion Weekend in Barbados.
